If you have Stage 1 engine tuning or gearbox tuning done with us and you are not happy with
it, tell us within 30 days and we will put your original software back and refund what you paid
for the tuning.

No argument, and no requirement to prove anything is wrong. If you simply do not like how the
car drives, that is reason enough.

What it covers

• Stage 1 engine tuning
• Gearbox tuning

What it does not cover

We would rather be plain about this than have you find out at the counter.

• Stage 2 and Stage 3. These involve hardware, and once parts are fitted the
  job is not something that can simply be undone.
• Parts. Anything physical we have supplied or fitted is covered by the returns
  terms in our terms and conditions, not by this guarantee.
• Diagnostic time, servicing and repairs. This is a tuning guarantee.
• Rolling road time. The dyno session is work already done.

How it works

1. Get in touch within 30 days of the work being done. A phone call or an email is fine, and the
   date on your invoice is the date that counts.
2. Bring the car back to us. Putting the original software back has to be done properly, with the
   car in front of us, the same way it went on.
3. We restore the file we took off your car before we started. We keep the original for every
   vehicle we tune, which is what makes this possible.
4. We refund what you paid for the tuning.

One thing worth knowing

If your car has been remapped and then put back to standard, the manufacturer may still be able
to see that the software was changed. Reversing a remap removes the map. It does not always remove
the evidence that a map was ever there. We would rather you knew that before you booked than after.

Why we offer it

Most people who ask about a remap have never had one, and no amount of reading tells you what
your own car will feel like afterwards. The guarantee exists so that uncertainty is not the thing
stopping you. In practice it is very rarely used, which is roughly the point.

If something is actually wrong

This guarantee is for when you have changed your mind. If the car has developed a fault, do not
wait out the 30 days deciding whether to claim – ring us. Software support on our tuning is for the
life of the car, and a fault is something we want to look at rather than refund our way out of.
