Steve - Abarth 595 Stage 1......

I had a stage 1 remap carried out on my Abarth 595. The car was already fun and punchy but the stage 1 map has made it feel 'like a new car'. The torque and power delivery is a lot smother throughout the Rev range. Just makes the whole car feel more 'lively'. The whole process was seamless from initial online enquiry (answered within a couple of hours) to booking it it for a 2hr slot via the online booking form. I am thinking of having a few other bits done (induction kit etc). I will definitely use them again.

Coil Pack Fixed By JFA

I had a problem with my M240i, so i put it into Ardens bmw. They had it for a day, but Did nothing.
Then I phoned JFA and asked them if they could sort it out.
Low and behold , it was just a coil pack causing all the problems. Sorted in just a few seconds. I had my M240I remapped by JFA and i would recommend there total professional ability to all no matter how small the problem. Staff and customer service is excellent.

Customer support always immediate and thorough. Had a stage 1 remap with Remus catback exhaust on my BMW 440i. Iain went through all the steps concisely. Results were phenomenal. Have had a few cars done but never have I noticed such a change. Not only did I get on average 22% extra power and torque throughout the range but it feels more urgent. At low speeds and cruising the car feels no different, but when the pedal is down it absolutely goes. Will only come back here now in the future! Thanks again guys!

The gearbox is so much more responsive since having the Stage 3 tune! Gearchanges are a lot faster, the car accelerates much quicker. By far my favourite bit is the full manual, with the paddle conversion its just so much better to drive!

The quality of work is brilliant and i have every faith that the equipment supplied and fitment will stand the test of time. The car has surprised us all with the power it made but more important than the numbers are the delivery of the power and the torque is truly impressive, along with the stage 3 gearbox map the car is transformed. Did motorway miles today up to Surrey and back and car returned between 42 and 45mpg which is up from a regular 37 before meth and map. Barely any meth used as set the cruise control up to just before the 1.8k rpm start point so and only a few >25% throttle so from a mpg of both fuel and meth point of view I'm also happy.

The power increase is impressive with 415bhp (from 375), but it's the torque that really grabs you as soon as you get back in the car. The power is so much more usable and instant!! Thanks guys.

I went into JF Automotive just to have a chat about a remap and DSG remap on my golf R after talking to Lewis and him explaining everything in great detail about how they work and whats involved in the remap I had my car booked in for the following morning, Mike worked on my car on the rolling road along with John, I can't recommend JF Automotive enough great customer service and they really talk you through how it all works and keep you updated why they are working on the car with the power upgrades etc. My golf is up 65bhp and 132Nm tourque also im running a non-res milltek and the extra noises this produces now since the map is unreal, if you have a DSG box I would say get it remapped it improves it so much when you think it could never get better. Prices are very resonable for the results you get, If you are looking for a remap on your car head down to JF you will not be dissapointed. Thanks again guys.

What can I say ……very surprised at the figures achieved by Mike, way over what I had optimistically hoped for. My 340i now has over 100hp more than stock and is now the truly heart stopping car that I hoped it would be from the start. I am very pleased with the results. As far as mpg is concerned I have yet to do a long trip to compare but initially it's very similar to how it was before. I'm expecting better mpg on long cruises. After some research I wanted to find someone local for a remap and came across JF Automotive. Had many emails with JFA who are the Abarth specialist and he gave me the confidence to book the car in for a stage 1 remap and new Forge induction kit. What a difference it made! Had my Audi A3 2.0T remapped at the open day in March with impressive results unfortunately on the way home the car developed a misfire and rough running, I phoned up John and was invited back for a check, it turned out to be an unrelated problem with a loose vacuum pipe, this was spotted by John after a diagnostic check and repaired, all without cost even though it wasn't related to the remap!

JF Automotive remapped the ECU on my Ford Transit. They increased the hp and torque slightly and now it is a pleasure to drive with the power spread more evenly over the throttle range. Early signs show that mpg is about the same but I hit a lot more traffic so there is an improvement.
I have recently been back for the map to be removed so that Ford can carry out an update. The hardware caused them some problems but they bent over backwards to sort it out. I can't wait for Fords to complete their work so JFA can put the map back on. I'm missing it already.

My 2011 Lamborghini had both a TCU and ECU remap and it's totally transformed the car along with BMC Carbon filters as recommended. Total professional setup and very knowledgeable people.. I would definitely use again.

Very easy to deal with. Significant improvement in power. No need to change up and down gears on hills anymore and now my discovery overtakes! 15% better fuel consumption too. After 6 months no problems at all. Price was reasonable. I have had lots of modified cars and comparing JF automotive with others including marque specialists I have not had a better experience and have no reservation about recommending them. I'll let them have a go at my M3 when its out of warranty.

Abarth stage 1

Absolutely outstanding service from Alex at JFA!

Last week, we ran into a difficult problem because my Abarth already had an old generic Stage 1 remap that couldn’t be removed. Instead of giving up, Alex went above and beyond. He spent time investigating the issue, contacted his suppliers for support, and kept me informed every step of the way. He then rebooked my car to make sure the job was done properly.

Today, Alex successfully removed the old remap and installed a custom Stage 1 tune. The transformation is incredible! My Abarth now drives much smoother, has much better power delivery, feels significantly faster, and is a pleasure to drive. You can really feel the difference that a proper custom tune makes.

EGR Delete

Heard good things about JF especially their mapping side so decided to get my 3 series diesel down to them for an EGR delete and coding out.. They supplied and fitted a Darkside Developments EGR delete kit then applied their software patch and so far so good, no more EGR faults on my diagnostic scanner. Car is driving well. They clearly know what they’re doing especially when it comes to BMW’s. Would highly recommend for a professional service. Good guys down there.

I have a Shogun that has an air conditioner problem. Several garages nearer me have been unhelpful and dismissive, telling me what they think the problem is and how to solve it but unable or unwilling to do so. Vauxhall Zafira 1.4t engine remap plus gearbox remap

Absolutely blown away by the work JF Automotive have done on my Vauxhall Zafira 1.4 Turbo.

I took the car in for a Stage 1 remap and gearbox mapping, and the transformation has been unbelievable. The car now pulls much harder throughout the rev range, throttle response is sharper, and the gearbox feels so much smoother and more responsive. It honestly feels like a completely different vehicle.

What impressed me most was the knowledge and professionalism from the team. They clearly know their stuff and took the time to explain everything before carrying out the work. You can tell they genuinely care about getting the best results for their customers.

It’s been a bit of a journey (3 years to be exact) in 2023 I had a Quicksilver exhaust system a remap and a reduced top pulley fitted to my 5.0SC L405 Range Rover, last week I finally got around to getting it on the dyno, it’s smoothed out the already awesome power delivery I’m more than happy with the results staff are friendly and helpful

Got my BMW i8 tuned with JFA and straight away it's a noticeable difference with the pull and 0-60 times. Overall was a professional and detailed visit, they did all the necessary checks and made sure everything was done with the right steps.

Had a recent stage 1 remap done at JFA, this is my 2nd vehicle (12 years in-between visits) I've had done by this company. I returned due to their reputation and knowledge. I didn't use their rolling road this visit, I did on my 1st visit, due to not chasing numbers as looking for driveability, and secondly as an mechanical engineer I personally found the sound of cars red lining mechanically wrong, I know it's a very safe process. My answered most of my questions or but 1 regarding LSPI (low speed pre ignition) and how the map could help prevent it. I would reuse JFA again for other vehicles.

So I drove the 360 mile round trip to JFA and I’m glad I did. I own a 57 plate Golf TSI GT Sport. Excellent Work carried out by amazing techicians

Well that’s my midlife crisis car – no, not the Red Porker, but the LR Disco (named as Skippy). After the initial visit to the JF Auto workshops, more works had been planned with my friends at JF Auto. Front brakes refresh, gearbox sump upgrade and new fluid and the rear hub getting an oil change. The 2007 truck was getting more work done, the previous work carried out by Shane highlighted some things tat needed rectifying, so in it went.

This time the technicians Jack and Shane worked on the Disco with gusto, identifying that the 18 year old needed new front brake callipers as well as the planned new Brembo discs and pads, which they got delivered within the hour and didn’t stop the progress on upgrading the braking system that on stop further.

Jack finished all the planned work quicker than usual and with advice from the friendly staff, considered additional work such as getting Skippy performance tuned on the next visit.

Thanks everyone, always happy with the work that the team carries out for me.

JF Automotive delved deeper into a sensor problem within my car electrics that Formula One didn't have the capabilities to rectify. An all round good experience with JFA as they had to order in a new sensor from Alpha Romeo, but all fixed in a good time frame (3 days) and luckily my car was still driveable in between diagnosis visit and repair visit.

2015 Audi RS3 ECU & Gearbox Tune

I took my 2015 Audi RS3 to JF Automotive for stage 1 remap and a gearbox remap. I was made to feel welcome answered any questions I had to ask. Waiting room was comfortable with Tea and Coffee. Eoghan took his time and tuned with the remap on gearbox and ECU with decent results going from stock 373bhp - 513nm torque to 422bhp - 615nm after tuning. Both happy that the car made its stock power after 80,000miles but with the results after the tune. Hopefully within the next week or so I will get to try out the extra power and torque

Arrived 8.30 Saturday morning, a technician armed with laptop tuned the gearbox,so now the truck changes earlier keeping the revs lower,I was a bit hesitate about having it done,but it's definitely better with no problems.

I got a stage 1 tune for a Golf R, engine and gearbox. This is our family car so it was about tightening up the response and adding low-end torque to improve driveability. I turned up, the job was done while I waited (less than an hour). They had free coffee and good wifi so this was no problem at all. The job was done professionally, and the results are exactly what we were looking for. No lumpiness, just takes the car to the next level. Stage 2 and all hardware bought & fitted from JF Automotive for my M135i, superb job with the fitting and setting up, but what stood them apart was the backup service when the car had a few niggles afterwards, the follow up care and persistence from the techs there have solved the issues and my car is running great. Car remapp

I had my car remapped by JF automotive and I've never seen such excellent service before. The team are so kind and so informative. On top of all that they are masters of what they do you'd be silly not to get yourself down to this team and get your car an upgrade I'll defo be returning in the future for more upgrades

BMW 220i M. Engine tune. Stock from factory it’s supposed to be 184BHP. However once the dyno was run it was making 200BHP stock which was a bonus. After the tune, it was making 254BHP. Happy.
Also had a gear box tune. Jesus, it’s really sorted the gearing out, much quicker shifts and when in Sport plus…. It’s turned in to a weapon.
Totally happy with the guys and the excellent work carried out. They really know their stuff and very passionate about it.
I would recommend these guys for your tuning without a shadow of doubt.

From nervous to ecstatic

I was apprehensive to initially consider using JF Automotive for my project Land Rover Discovery. However, the customer service before I let them get their hands on my Landy was great and friendly. The price was more than the basic tyres and service garage, but the difference in what they do is worth it. Not just the work using real top quality parts, Liqi-Moly oil and Bosch filters, when they see issues, like loose nuts and bolts, they tighten them and highlight the other concerns. The technician Shane was fantastic and honest advice was appreciated. JF Automotive has my trust and they will be my Workshop of choice for my project cars.

Remap and new intake

JFA were the only company, following lots of research, that could up the power on my 2025 Audi S3. The results are noticeable and coupled with the new intake which was also sourced by them, I basically now have a RS3.

Golf R remap

Pleased with the outcome of the stage 1 remap, what was offered has given the car more performance than I anticipated. The staff really know their business. From driving in having the remap and driving out in less than 2 hours. Excellent job all round. I would definitely recommend.

Mazda CX-5 2.2 Skyactive-D AWD 2017

It my scound car which I tuned with JFA. They done amazing job..again :) I done just 30 miles in my Mazda CX-5 but i can see hugh difference in acceleration.

T6 204, hybrid turbo power increase.

My VW T6 had a hybrid turbo installed and a myriad of other engine improvements such as intercooler upgrade along with charge cooler upgrades etc, the guys at JFA were great, setting it up was more awkward due to it not being a standard engine, but they tuned it superbly, 263bhp with the gearbox tweaked also. It drives like a dream, passengers can’t believe the acceleration and how smooth it is. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

Self supplied air intake installation

Used JFA to install a self supplied upgraded air intake to my GR Yaris. Staff were all very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful in both arranging for the fitment, and very welcoming on the day. Premises has a small but very clean and comfortable waiting room with refreshment facilities, and workshops are also very clean and modern.

Would use again.

Remapping.. Mercedes E220

From the moment I handed my car over, step by step they explained what they were doing. Explaining roughly the gains I would Achieve on my Mercedes E220. Happy with the out come..!!

Good set-up and carried out the work efficiently. Could have done with Covid control signage to make people aware of the procedures.

Car was seen at the appointment time and pre-diagnostic check identified fault with the EGR. Remap was completed but advised to get EGR fixed in order for remap to be completed. Honest service and would recommend.
