A Stage 1 remap on the 180hp 2.0 diesel F-Pace takes it to around 210hp and 490Nm, and the 150hp E-Pace D150 reaches the same 210hp and 490Nm because it is the same engine held further back. The 240hp diesels go to about 260hp and 550Nm, and the 300hp petrol E-Pace to around 320hp and 450Nm. Jaguar uses the ZF 8HP automatic across most of the range, which has its own torque limiter worth tuning alongside the engine.
JF Automotive – a Kent UK based company have become market leaders for ECU re-calibration for more power and enhanced fuel efficiency. Calibrating software to the highest level requires passion and enthusiasm and we strive to impart this into your vehicle to deliver a fulfilling sensation every time you drive.
Jaguar Engine ECU Remapping
Jaguar ECU Remapping will offer great power and fuel economy enhancements , however as with most vehicles the peak power gains are only half the benefit. You will also find power delivery earlier in the rev range due to additional low down torque and sharper throttle response along with vast improvements to mid-range torque providing a wider power band.
Jaguar Gearbox TCU Remapping.
If your Jaguar is fitted with an automatic or semi automatic transmission we can perform a gearbox remap in additional to the engine remap. A gearbox remap for your Jaguar will offer faster gear shift speeds, smoother shifts, faster reaction to paddle shift inputs and improved mid range torque by releasing torque limiters. Transmission lock is also improved giving a faster response during acceleration and assisting with kick down at low speeds.
Jaguar Dyno Tuning
Our purpose built research and development facility houses out very own Mustang AWD 2000BHP linked dyno. This allows us to accurately measure every parameter we adjust making sure a tune is every bit as safe as it it powerful. When booking your Jaguar ECU remap, book a set of dyno runs to see a full print out of power before and after the tuning.
Jaguar Performance Exhaust System
We have a range of exhaust systems available for your Jaguar including Milltek, Remus, Capristo, Akrapovič and many more. Just ask us for a quotation.

Questions we get asked
How much power does a Jaguar remap add?
It depends on the engine, and on a Jaguar the badge tells you less than usual because the same physical engine appears at several outputs. A 150hp E-Pace diesel goes to around 210hp; a 180hp F-Pace to the same; a 240hp diesel to about 260hp. Send the registration and we will give you your car's figures.
Which Jaguars do you tune?
The F-Pace, E-Pace, XE, XF, XJ and F-Type, in both the four-cylinder Ingenium engines and the larger V6 and V8s. We hold data across the range rather than only the popular ones.
Should the gearbox be tuned too?
Worth considering. Most of the range uses the ZF 8HP, which has a torque limiter that can clip a diesel remap in particular, because the gain is mostly torque. Tuning it raises the limiter and sharpens the shifts.
What about the DPF and AdBlue?
They stay. Removing emissions equipment makes a car illegal to use on the road and fails its MOT. If yours has a fault we diagnose and repair it, and the remap goes on a healthy car afterwards.
Will it use less fuel?
Often a little less on a steady motorway run, because the engine works less hard to hold the same speed and you can sit a gear higher. Driven harder it will use more. Treat it as a bonus rather than the reason.
How long does it take?
About two hours through the diagnostic port including a road test. We keep your original file so the car can go back to standard at any time, and you can add dyno runs for a before-and-after graph.
