What we look at on a SEAT

Fixed or LongLife servicing

Your car is set to either a fixed yearly service or the variable LongLife regime. We check which it is on, service it to match and reset the indicator with dealer-level diagnostics.

The right oil spec

VW Group engines need oil to a specific VW approval, such as 504 00 / 507 00 or the newer 508 00 / 509 00 for 0W-20 engines. We match the approval to your engine code, not just the viscosity.

DSG gearbox servicing

Wet-clutch DSG gearboxes need their oil and filter changed at set intervals, usually around every 40,000 miles. We check the history and tell you if it is due.

4Motion and quattro

Four-wheel-drive models with a Haldex coupling need the coupling oil and filter changed periodically. It is often missed and causes the rear axle to stop driving.

Common questions

How much is a SEAT service?
Our guide prices start at £169 for an interim (Bronze) service, £239 for a full (Silver) service and £339 for a major (Gold) service, including VAT. Some SEAT engines take specialist or large-capacity oil, which can add an oil surcharge, so we confirm the exact price from your registration first.
Will servicing my SEAT here affect the warranty?
No. Block exemption rules mean any qualified garage can service a car under manufacturer warranty, as long as the correct schedule, parts and fluids are used and the work is recorded. We follow the SEAT schedule and stamp the book or update the digital record.
How long does a SEAT service take?
Most interim services take a few hours and full services are usually same-day. If we find anything else, we call you with photos and a price before doing any extra work.
Can you do an MOT at the same time?
Yes. We can arrange an MOT alongside the service so the car is only off the road once.
