What is Stage 1 tuning?
Stage 1 is a remap of your engine’s standard software on an otherwise standard car. No hardware is needed, it’s usually done the same day, and it’s fully reversible. On most turbocharged petrol and diesel engines it transforms how the car drives: stronger mid-range, sharper throttle response and, on diesels, often better economy too.

What is Stage 2 tuning?
Stage 2 pairs a more aggressive calibration with hardware that lets the engine breathe: typically an uprated intercooler or charge cooler, a performance exhaust with a sports cat (de-cat is strictly off-road only), and an induction kit. Because the hardware varies by engine, we quote Stage 2 per car. Parts from around £400 and the custom tune with dyno time from £600.

What is Stage 3 tuning?
Stage 3 builds on the Stage 2 hardware with a hybrid or larger turbocharger, and on some engines uprated fuel pumps or injectors. It’s a build we plan around how you use the car, mapped from scratch and proven on the dyno. Talk to the workshop before committing. The right Stage 3 depends entirely on the engine and your goals.

Common questions
Yes, when it’s done properly. We write to sensible limits for your exact engine, keep factory safety strategies intact, and prove the result on our own rolling road under full load, checking air/fuel ratios, boost and timing rather than guessing. A well-mapped car should drive like a better version of itself, not a fragile one.
Manufacturer warranties generally don’t cover modified components, so if your car is under warranty it’s worth checking your terms first. Our tunes are fully reversible if you need to return to stock. For insurance, you must declare any tuning to your insurer. Plenty of insurers are fine with it; not declaring is what causes problems.
A Stage 1 remap is usually a few hours and often same-day. Stage 2 depends on the hardware being fitted. Stage 3 is planned per car. If you use one of our home tuning tools, we post the tool out and load your file remotely. No travel at all.
Yes. We keep your original file, so the car can be returned to its standard software whenever you want: before a dealer visit, a warranty claim, or a sale.

The calculator gives you an honest estimate of the gains for your exact engine, based on figures we’ve developed and proven on our own dyno. Your final gains are confirmed on the rolling road when we tune the car, so what you see here is a realistic starting point rather than a best-case headline.
