How does WinOLS work when buying credits?
1. Search for your WinOLS/customer number.
2. Create free account and log onto our dealer portal.
3. Add you WinOLS customer number to your account.
4. Buy WinOLS tuning credits.
5. Go back to your WinOLS software, go to miscellaneous > and select updates + registration, your WinOLS will now show JF Automotive as a client.
6. You can select Reseller-JF Automotive and you can see all our projects. When you drop a file in the WinOLS and you push ctrl+alt+o search similar you see if JF Automotive Reseller has the project.

What is WinOLS?
The industry standard software for reading, mapping and modifying ECU files. It lets a file writer find the maps inside a raw read, change them, and correct the checksums so the ECU accepts the file. It is a professional tool, not something you point at your own car for an afternoon.
What is the EVC database?
A shared library of original and modified ECU files, accessed through WinOLS. It saves a tuner rebuilding a project from scratch when the same ECU and software version has been seen before, which is most of the time.
Do I need WinOLS to have my car tuned?
No. This is trade equipment. If you want your own car tuned, put the registration into our tuning builder and we will do the work. WinOLS is for garages and tuners writing their own files.
Do you supply tuning files?
Yes. We write files for dealers through our own portal: read the ECU with your tool, upload the original, tick the options you want and the finished file comes back, usually in about sixteen minutes during working hours. There is no joining fee and no monthly fee.
Which tools do you support?
Any slave or master tool. Alientech, Magic Motorsport, CMD, Autotuner, Flashtec and bFlash are the ones we see most, and we are an official dealer for several of them if you need to buy or upgrade a tool.
I am a garage and new to this. Where do I start?
With the tool and the support, not the software. Most garages start by sending us the original file and having us write it, which needs no WinOLS licence at all, then move to writing their own once the volume justifies it. Get in touch and we will tell you honestly which stage you are at.
