Ford Engine ECU Remapping
Ford ECU Remapping will offer great power and fuel economy enhancements , however as with most vehicles the peak power gains are only half the benefit. You will also find power delivery earlier in the rev range due to additional low down torque and sharper throttle response along with vast improvements to mid-range torque providing a wider power band.
Ford Gearbox TCU Remapping.
If your Ford is fitted with an automatic or semi automatic transmission we can perform a gearbox remap in additional to the engine remap. A gearbox remap for your Ford will offer faster gear shift speeds, smoother shifts, faster reaction to paddle shift inputs and improved mid range torque by releasing torque limiters. Transmission lock is also improved giving a faster response during acceleration and assisting with kick down at low speeds.
Ford Dyno Tuning
Our purpose built research and development facility houses out very own Mustang AWD 2000BHP linked dyno. This allows us to accurately measure every parameter we adjust making sure a tune is every bit as safe as it it powerful. JF Automotive remapped the ECU on my Ford Transit. They increased the hp and torque slightly and now it is a pleasure to drive with the power spread more evenly over the throttle range. Early signs show that mpg is about the same but I hit a lot more traffic so there is an improvement.
I have recently been back for the map to be removed so that Ford can carry out an update. The hardware caused them some problems but they bent over backwards to sort it out. I can't wait for Fords to complete their work so JFA can put the map back on. I'm missing it already.
