Battery management module recovery

A battery management module monitors cell voltages, temperature and state of charge,
and controls charging and balancing. When one stops communicating the vehicle usually will
not move.

Recovery here means restoring a module that has lost its data or become unresponsive,
so it talks to the rest of the vehicle again. It is a software level repair of a control
module.

To be clear about what this is not: we do not carry out
high voltage battery work, cell replacement, pack opening or anything else inside a
traction battery. That is specialist work with its own qualifications and it is not what
we do.
