Do you take a deposit?

Not for the tuning itself, not any more. We used to take a £50 booking deposit up front. We do not do that now.

What we do instead is take your card details when you book, to hold the slot. You pay for the work on the day, in the normal way.

If you cancel

If you cancel your booking we charge £50 to that card. A tuning slot takes a ramp, a technician and often the dyno out of the diary, and at short notice that time cannot be sold to anyone else.

Tell us as early as you can and we will almost always just move you to another date rather than charge you anything. It is a no-show charge, not a penalty for changing your mind in good time.

Parts deposits are different

Where a job needs parts ordered in specially, we take a deposit for those separately and that deposit is not refundable. Once a part has been ordered for your car we have bought it, and for a lot of performance parts there is no sending it back.
