A Stage 1 remap takes the Audi A3 3.2 V6 from 250 to 265 bhp and from 320 to 340 Nm: 15 bhp and 20 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
