A Stage 1 remap takes the Volkswagen Golf 1.5 e-TSI from 130 to 170 bhp and from 200 to 290 Nm: 40 bhp and 90 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a plug-in hybrid the remap works on the combustion engine only; the electric motor and battery are untouched, so EV range and charging are unchanged. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
