A Stage 1 remap takes the Mercedes ML 63 AMG from 558 to 650 bhp and from 720 to 900 Nm: 92 bhp and 180 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
