Common questions

How does home tuning work?

You plug the tool into your car's OBD port and read the original file. It comes to us, we tune that file for your exact car, and send it back for you to write to the car. You keep the original, so you can put the car back to standard at home, for example before warranty work.

Is it as good as a tune on your dyno?

Not quite. A full dyno session lets us measure the car while we tune it. A home tune still gives us full access to properly tune the ECU, so you get more power and better drivability than an off-the-shelf module.

Can I store more than one map?

Yes. For example a safe map for daily driving on pump fuel and a stronger one for track days on race fuel, or a map with and without water methanol injection.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes. The tools are in stock and sent by mail order worldwide, with remote support from us.

How quickly will it arrive?

In the UK, normally 1 to 2 working days. We confirm the tool suits your car before we send it, so ask us first rather than ordering blind.

Can I return the tool?

Not once it has been unboxed. That is why we check your car is supported and talk you through it before you buy. If you are unsure, ask us first.

Will it work on my car?
