Korhex Boot Glitch Now Live for Stellantis Bosch MD1CS003 ECUs

Our Korhex hardware now unlocks Stellantis Bosch MD1CS003 ECUs by boot glitch, covering 2021 DS, Fiat, Opel, Peugeot and Toyota 1.5 diesel models.

2 min readBy JF AutomotiveMaidstone, Kent

Magic Motorsport has released a Korhex boot glitch protocol for the Stellantis-built Bosch MD1CS003 ECU, opening up a shared 1.5-litre diesel platform used by DS, Fiat, Opel, Peugeot and Toyota. It is an EMFI-based unlock rather than an OBD or bench read, so it needs the Korhex hardware and the right Flex licence level to run.

Which ECUs

The MD1CS003 runs on the TC298 processor and appears across the 2021 model year Stellantis-group light diesel range under several badges. Unlocking it needs a Boot Glitch licence – FLS0.20 on its own, or the fuller FLS0.5 Flex configuration – paired with the Korhex hardware to run the EMFI glitch itself. We hold both the Korhex unit and the Flex licence level this protocol calls for, so it is ready to use on our bench now rather than something we would need to source in.

Cars this opens up

  • DS 7 Crossback (I) (2021MY) 1.5L BlueHDi 16v 130HP
  • Fiat Scudo (III) (2021MY) 1.5L MultiJet 16v 118HP
  • Opel Mokka (B) (2021MY) 1.5L TDCi 16v 108HP
  • Peugeot 5008 (II) (2021MY) 1.5L BlueHDi 16v 130HP
  • Toyota Proace City (I) (2021MY) 1.5L D4-D 16v 74HP

What it means

For owners, it means these shared-platform 1.5 diesels – badge-engineered across five brands but built on the same Stellantis architecture – now have a genuine tuning route where there wasn’t one before. Whether the car in the driveway is a DS, a Peugeot or a Toyota with the same engine underneath, the same unlock now applies.

For dealers, a boot glitch protocol is a bench job rather than a quick OBD pass, so it is worth knowing this one is covered by hardware we already run rather than a rig that has to be bought in specially. That keeps turnaround realistic: book it in as a bench job, and it comes back using the same Korhex setup we use for our other boot glitch work.

Our tools now read and write Stellantis Bosch MD1CS003 ECUs by boot glitch. If you run one of the vehicles above, build your tuning file here. Garages can send the ECU through our dealer file service, and the hardware behind it is our Magic Motorsport Flex tool.
