The C7 RS6 and RS7 share the 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 at 560hp and 700Nm, or 605hp and 750Nm in Performance form. Our Stage 1 calibration takes the RS6 to around 650hp and 850Nm and the RS7 to around 680hp and 850Nm, with the Performance versions reaching the same peak power and around 900Nm. It is written for your car's own ECU file, programmed through the OBD port and proven on our 4WD linked dyno, and the original file is kept so the car can go back to standard.
Questions we get asked
Why is the tuned RS7 figure higher than the RS6?
The engine is the same but the two cars run different factory calibrations and the RS7 file has a little more headroom in its torque and boost limits. In practice both cars gain around 90 to 120hp and 150Nm from Stage 1.
Is Stage 2 worth it on a C7?
Stage 2 adds downpipes with sports cats and a revised intake, which lowers exhaust temperatures and lets the calibration run more boost safely. It suits owners who use the car hard or want a louder V8; for most road use Stage 1 is the sensible step.
Can the tune be detected by an Audi dealer?
Yes. Audi's diagnostic system can flag a modified calibration, so we never claim a remap is invisible. We keep your original file on record and can return the car to standard at any time.
