What the stages mean

STAGE 1 TUNINGSOFTWARE ONLY

A remap on an otherwise standard car — no hardware needed, usually done in a day. Your exact figures come from the calculator above.

WHAT’S INVOLVED, WHO IT SUITS
A remap on an otherwise standard car. We connect to the ECU, read the standard calibration and load one developed for your exact engine. No hardware is needed, and it is usually done the same day. Best suited to a daily driver that stays otherwise standard.
STAGE 2 TUNINGNEEDS PARTS

Bigger gains than Stage 1, but the software needs supporting hardware — exhaust, intercooler, intake.

WHICH PARTS, AND WHY
The software can only go so far on standard parts. Stage 2 pairs a remap with supporting hardware — typically a performance exhaust, intercooler and intake — so the engine can breathe well enough to use the extra fuelling. Which parts your car needs depends on the engine; the calculator lists them for your exact model.
STAGE 3 TUNINGBUILD

Turbo, cams, clutch. Track-focused — usually a conversation, not a checkout.

WHAT A STAGE 3 BUILD INVOLVES
Turbocharger, camshafts, clutch, flywheel and full supporting hardware. Track-focused, planned per car, and priced as a build rather than a menu item. If you are considering Stage 3, the right first step is a conversation with the workshop.
