A Stage 1 remap takes the Volkswagen Lupo 1.6 16V GTI from 125 to 138 bhp and from 152 to 170 Nm: 13 bhp and 18 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
