A Stage 1 remap takes the Volkswagen Crafter 2.0 TDI from 115 to 185 bhp and from 320 to 410 Nm: 70 bhp and 90 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.

No. A Stage 1 remap keeps every emissions system as the factory fitted it. We do not remove or disable the DPF, EGR or AdBlue system as part of a remap.
How long does it take, and can it be reversed?
