A Stage 1 remap takes the Mini Cooper S 2.0T from 163 to 230 bhp and from 280 to 350 Nm: 67 bhp and 70 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
