A Stage 1 remap takes the Mercedes CLS 350 CGI from 292 to 312 bhp and from 365 to 390 Nm: 20 bhp and 25 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
