A Stage 1 remap takes the Mercedes CLC 200 CDI from 122 to 170 bhp and from 270 to 380 Nm: 48 bhp and 110 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
