A Stage 1 remap takes the Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD Multijet from 80 to 112 bhp and from 196 to 268 Nm: 32 bhp and 72 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
