A Stage 1 remap takes the Ferrari F40 V8 from 515 to 560 bhp and from 580 to 610 Nm: 45 bhp and 30 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
