A Stage 1 remap takes the Audi S4 3.0 TDI from 347 to 390 bhp and from 700 to 780 Nm: 43 bhp and 80 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
