A Stage 1 remap takes the Volvo V60 D3 from 136 to 185 bhp and from 350 to 480 Nm: 49 bhp and 130 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
