A Stage 1 remap takes the Audi A5 3.0 TDI CR from 211 to 310 bhp and from 500 to 620 Nm: 99 bhp and 120 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
