Magic Motorsport’s Flex has added a Boot Glitch protocol for the Stellantis Bosch MG1CS032, and it is one we can already run in-house – JFA holds the Korhex hardware and the Flex licence level it needs. That puts DS, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot’s small-capacity 1.2 PureTech and GSE engines back on the bench without a mail-in RFT unlock, which for this ECU family has usually meant a longer wait.
Which ECUs
The release covers the Bosch MG1CS032, built on the SPC58 microprocessor, across Stellantis Group applications from DS, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot. Access is via Boot Glitch through our Korhex hardware on Flex – no mail-in, no RFT unlock service required, and no waiting on a third party to process the ECU before work can start. It is not flagged as beta, so it is being treated as a production-ready protocol rather than something still being proven.

What it means
For owners, our tools now read and write the MG1CS032 straight off the car, so these small-capacity PureTech and GSE engines can go through our tuning builder without the ECU ever leaving the vehicle. Boot Glitch access on our own Korhex rig means the job can be booked and turned around in-house rather than sent away and waited on, which matters most for owners who need a car back quickly.
For dealers without their own Korhex rig, our file service covers this protocol – send the job through the same channel we use ourselves and get a file back without needing to invest in the hardware. Anyone running Magic Motorsport’s Flex platform already can check what hardware and licence level this specific protocol needs on our Magic Motorsport Flex tuning tools page before taking a job on.
It is a small but useful addition to the Flex file list: these PureTech and GSE three-cylinder engines are common across several Stellantis brands, so one protocol release tends to open up more than one badge at once, as it has here across DS, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot.
