A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW X1 x20i from 192 to 280 bhp and from 280 to 450 Nm: 88 bhp and 170 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
