A Stage 1 remap takes the Volvo XC 60 T5 from 180 to 200 bhp and from 240 to 330 Nm: 20 bhp and 90 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
