A Stage 1 remap takes the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TSI from 190 to 260 bhp and from 320 to 440 Nm: 70 bhp and 120 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
