A Stage 1 remap takes the Subaru Forester 2.5 Turbo from 210 to 240 bhp and from 320 to 360 Nm: 30 bhp and 40 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
