A Stage 1 remap takes the Renault Clio RS 2.0 16v from 172 to 185 bhp and from 204 to 218 Nm: 13 bhp and 14 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
