A Stage 1 remap takes the Mercedes CLA 200 from 156 to 175 bhp and from 230 to 310 Nm: 19 bhp and 80 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
