A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW X3 20i xDrive from 184 to 275 bhp and from 270 to 420 Nm: 91 bhp and 150 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
