A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW M4 Competition from 510 to 600 bhp and from 650 to 760 Nm: 90 bhp and 110 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
