A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW 3 Series 335i Active Hybrid from 340 to 400 bhp and from 400 to 520 Nm: 60 bhp and 120 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a plug-in hybrid the remap works on the combustion engine only; the electric motor and battery are untouched, so EV range and charging are unchanged. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
