A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW 3 Series 330e from 292 to 400 bhp and from 420 to 700 Nm: 108 bhp and 280 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a plug-in hybrid the remap works on the combustion engine only; the electric motor and battery are untouched, so EV range and charging are unchanged. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
