A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW 2 Series GC / Active Tourer 220i from 190 to 275 bhp and from 280 to 420 Nm: 85 bhp and 140 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
