A Stage 1 remap takes the Audi RS5 4.2 V8 from 450 to 475 bhp and from 430 to 455 Nm: 25 bhp and 25 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
