Skoda uses the same VAG engines as Volkswagen, Audi and Seat, so the Octavia vRS, Superb and Kodiaq respond much as their cousins do. The difference that matters is which ECU is fitted, because on the newer 2.0 TSI cars that decides how the file has to be read and written. This page covers the engine and gearbox work we do on Skodas and how we verify it. We confirm your ECU from the registration before anything is agreed.

Skoda Engine ECU Remapping
Skoda ECU Remapping will offer great power and fuel economy enhancements , however as with most vehicles the peak power gains are only half the benefit. You will also find power delivery earlier in the rev range due to additional low down torque and sharper throttle response along with vast improvements to mid-range torque providing a wider power band.
Skoda Gearbox TCU Remapping.
If your Skoda is fitted with an automatic or semi automatic transmission we can perform a gearbox remap in additional to the engine remap. A gearbox remap for your Skoda will offer faster gear shift speeds, smoother shifts, faster reaction to paddle shift inputs and improved mid range torque by releasing torque limiters. Transmission lock is also improved giving a faster response during acceleration and assisting with kick down at low speeds.
Skoda Dyno Tuning
Our purpose built research and development facility houses out very own Mustang AWD 2000BHP linked dyno. This allows us to accurately measure every parameter we adjust making sure a tune is every bit as safe as it it powerful. Questions we get asked
Which Skodas do you cover?
The full range, petrol and diesel. The ones we are asked about most often are the Octavia vRS, the Superb and the Kodiaq, and we support the 2.0 TSI versions of all three including the newer Simos 19.3 and 19.6 cars.
My Skoda is a recent car. Can it still be tuned?
Yes. The newest 2.0 TSI ECUs are protected from the factory and do not always open up through the OBD port, which is where the answer that a recent car cannot be done usually comes from. It can be done with the right method, and we will tell you which one yours needs.
Can the DSG gearbox be tuned as well?
Yes. Shift speed, shift points and clamping pressure can all be revised, along with the torque limiter that would otherwise hold back the engine map. On a tuned car this often changes how it feels more than the engine map alone does.
