Seat and Cupra sit on the same VAG engines as Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda, which is good news, because these are engines we work on constantly. What differs between them is the ECU, and on the newer 2.0 TSI cars that is the thing which decides how the job has to be done at all. This page covers the engine and gearbox work we do on Seat and Cupra and how we verify it. We confirm which ECU your car actually has from the registration before you commit to anything.

Seat Engine ECU Remapping
Seat ECU Remapping will offer great power and fuel economy enhancements , however as with most vehicles the peak power gains are only half the benefit. You will also find power delivery earlier in the rev range due to additional low down torque and sharper throttle response along with vast improvements to mid-range torque providing a wider power band.
Seat Gearbox TCU Remapping.
If your Seat is fitted with an automatic or semi automatic transmission we can perform a gearbox remap in additional to the engine remap. A gearbox remap for your Seat will offer faster gear shift speeds, smoother shifts, faster reaction to paddle shift inputs and improved mid range torque by releasing torque limiters. Transmission lock is also improved giving a faster response during acceleration and assisting with kick down at low speeds.
Seat Dyno Tuning
Our purpose built research and development facility houses out very own Mustang AWD 2000BHP linked dyno. This allows us to accurately measure every parameter we adjust making sure a tune is every bit as safe as it it powerful. When booking your Seat ECU remap, book a set of dyno runs to see a full print out of power before and after the tuning.

Questions we get asked
Do you cover the newer Cupra models?
Yes. The current Leon, Ateca and Formentor 2.0 TSI cars run the Siemens Simos 19.3 and 19.6 ECUs, which we support. Those units are protected from the factory and do not always open up through the OBD port, so the method matters, and we confirm what yours needs from the registration.
Can you remap the DSG gearbox as well?
Yes. On DSG cars we can sharpen the shifts, speed up the response to the paddles and raise the torque limiter that would otherwise cap what the engine map is able to deliver.
Will you show me what my car actually made?
Yes. Every car is run on our own Mustang 4WD linked dyno before and after, so the figure you are given is the one your car produced rather than a number taken from a catalogue.
