A Stage 1 remap takes the Mercedes E 63 S AMG from 585 to 685 bhp and from 800 to 1100 Nm: 100 bhp and 300 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
