A Stage 1 remap takes the Renault Scenic 1.4 TCE from 130 to 160 bhp and from 190 to 240 Nm: 30 bhp and 50 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
