A Stage 1 remap takes the Renault Megane 2.0T GT from 220 to 305 bhp and from 340 to 440 Nm: 85 bhp and 100 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
