A Stage 1 remap takes the Mini Paceman JCW from 218 to 230 bhp and from 260 to 340 Nm: 12 bhp and 80 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
