A Stage 1 remap takes the Mercedes E 300 CDI Hybrid from 231 to 280 bhp and from 540 to 600 Nm: 49 bhp and 60 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a plug-in hybrid the remap works on the combustion engine only; the electric motor and battery are untouched, so EV range and charging are unchanged. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
