A Stage 1 remap takes the Citroen C1 1.4 HDi from 55 to 75 bhp and from 130 to 170 Nm: 20 bhp and 40 Nm more, on standard hardware. Diesels gain most in torque, so the change shows as pull from low revs and less gear-changing under load, not just a higher peak figure. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
