A Stage 1 remap takes the BMW 1 Series M135i from 320 to 385 bhp and from 450 to 520 Nm: 65 bhp and 70 Nm more, on standard hardware. On a turbocharged petrol the gain comes from boost, fuelling and ignition timing recalibrated within the limits of the standard turbo and injectors. It is done in a visit at our Maidstone workshop and the original file is kept, so it can go back to standard.
